Step One - The Free Consultation
Before we take a step forward together, we'll schedule an initial 30-minute conversation for you to share with us the challenges you're experiencing with your current marketing and business development strategies and why you feel your business would benefit from a coaching relationship. We'll get to know you and your business and together we'll decide if a coaching relationship is appropriate and what that relationship will look like. We'll discuss the coaching roadmap with you, the recommended duration of the relationship, the cost involved, and decide together to move to step two. Once the decision is made, we'll appoint the coach most qualified to meet your specific needs.
Step Two - Identifying the Destination
Once you've decided to introduce a coaching relationship into your organization and a coach has been assigned, you'll work with him or her to identify the performance destination you want to take your team members to and and why. This is where we identify outcomes, performance improvements, and the benchmarks along the way. We'll also decide if the coaching relationship will take place remotely, on-site, or a combination of both.
Step Three - Identifying Roadblocks, Detours, and Dangers
During this phase of the relationship your coach will spend time with you, your employees, and teams identifying attitudes, practices, policies, systems and protocols that have prevented the team from achieving the levels of excellence you desire. We'll spend a great deal of time listening and observing your workplace in motion to help us best prepare the course forward.
Step Four - Navigation
This step is the heart, mind, and soul of the relationship. It's where we do the work and spend most of our time together. It's during this leg of the journey that your coach will give you and/or your individual employees or teams reading or listening assignments, tasks, and projects, all designed to get you past the roadblocks, through the detours, and safely to your destination. Your coach will challenge you team, encourage them, hold them accountable, call them out when necessary, but be with you and them every step of the way.
Step Five - Evaluation, Celebration, and Follow-up
As we're working together we'll establish mile-markers to measure performance along the way, after the formal coaching period has ended. We'll maintain communication as we measure performance together for the next three months following the end of the coaching period to decide if additional work is needed, or if a celebration is in order. If we've all succeeded and you're winning, we'll help you celebrate with and reward your teams. And then, after a year has passed, we'll connect with you again to make sure performance is still on track.
